Our experience and close working relationship with Classification Societies and Statutory bodies throughout the world enables us to validate or produce packages for either new build, conversion or refit.

We have a thorough understanding of Classification Society rules and Statutory regulations and deal on a daily basis with bodies such as Lloyds Register, Det Norske Veritas, American Bureau of Shipping and Registro Italiano Navale along with all the major Flag states.

In addition to producing packages for Class approval we frequently work as an intermediary between owners, Agents or Designers in negotiation with Class and Flag.

Acceptance by Class and Flag is mandatory for the modern Superyacht, and it is essential that these requirements are dealt with at the beginning of any project and maintained throughout the design, build and service life of any project.

Stability Books, Inclining Trials & Lightship Surveys

We produce stability booklets, stability programs and advice for any vessel as required by Statutory and Classification rules and regulations.

Intact and damage stability analysis is calculated using IMO approved software and is compiled into approved booklets as required by Flag authorities.

We can update existing stability booklets as required during a major refit as well as advising on stability issues before commencing a refit.

Our team can undertake inclining trials and lightship surveys anywhere in the world, or alternatively we can utilise information from third parties.

We also offer a custom computer loading and stability program tailored to an individual vessel, this enables the Captain to produce the required stability compliance seamlessly at the touch of a button.
